As part of the national garden scheme open for charity 2024, BBGC is creating a sensory and tranquil space to engage with the wider community.
Part of the land will be devoted to the creation of two community allotments, to grow, share and develop skills to help bring all of the community together, with the creation of Billington in Bloom which has already had a huge impact on strengthening the community who have already shared weeding and cleaning of communal areas and tidying of the village.
The sensory and tranquillity space will be designed by young people to help grow their mental health awareness for future generations to come.
